"Elsie" is a cross-border collection version of the teddy bear jointly launched by Leica and Steiff, a German century-old plush toy brand. This is a collection of the century specially created by two top German brands to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the legendary camera Leica I (1925–2025).

This teddy bear is named after Elsie Kühn-Leitz, the daughter of Ernst Leitz II, the soul figure of the mass-produced Leica I. In addition to her, there is another "Ernst" teddy bear in the series representing her father. Both symbolize the century-old legendary spirit of the Leica family.
