MÉNOS: The weight of Silhouette (Pre-sale)

Introduction:

Ménos, a HK photo collective was established in 2018, aim to encourage local photography idea exchanges, host photography sharing sessions, community welfare activities for youth and the elderly, etc. 

One year after forming the photo collective group, gather the works all members and publish the first photo book "Prologue". The theme of the first issue is "Hong Kong Street" to commemorate the forgotten people of Hong Kong.

Members have different photograph style and background, from film directors, lecturers to construction workers, etc., documenting various perspective of stories in their own respective social positions. While deference maybe given to members with greater expertise, all member agree on the final result to process each project.

Four years later, the first large-scale photography exhibition “The Weight of Silhouette” was held at K11 Musea. The following year 2024, the collection was compiled into the second photography book “The Weight of Silhouette”, images captured the ephemeral mood and emotion that shape  the forgotten time in Hong Kong.

事隔4年後在K11 Musea 舉辦了首個大型攝影展覽 The Weight of Silhouette， 翌年即將推出第二本攝影集《也無風雨也無晴》，記香港被遺忘的時間。
