The lens is designed, hand-assembly, QC by Miyazaki san with high standard of craftmanship in his workshop. Build quality is solid. It is not a mass production from big factory. It may show little variations between individual pieces, or between different batches. Assumming that it will not be produced any more in future. 

It adopts Gauss design, with 6 elements in 4 groups. 

The lens is in M mount, which can be used in Leica M film body (M1, M2, M3, M4, M4-2, M4-P, M5, M6, M7, MP, CL) and digital body (M8, M8.2, M9, M9P, ME, M), or compatible. With adapter, it can be used on mirrorless digital cameras. It is mentioned in the certificate that this lens cannot be used in Voigtlander Bessa body.

Filter Thread Size

The filter thread size is 28mm. You should attach the filter on the lens, and then attach the hood on the top of the filter.
